Abstract:The Jiangxilong gold-antimony deposit in Western Hunan Province, occurring in the epimetamorphic rock series of Wuqianxi formation, Banxi group, Neoproterozoic, is a cogentic (associated) Au-Sb deposit. The metallogenesis is strictly controlled by NE-trending shear fault zone. The ore-bodies are steeply-dipped crossing veins, stably reappearing in the direction of dip and striking. The gold occurs in the near altered wallrock. Arsenopyrite is the main gold carrier. The enrichment of antinomy is closely related to silicification. The Au-bearing antimony ore is with high As. The result of ore dressing experiment focused on antimony shows that the main recovered mineral is antimonite, with recoverable of gold.
