Abstract:Northwest Sichuan is one of the significant regions for primary gold deposits in China, especially for the fine disseminated type of gold deposits. The distribution of middle, large and super-large gold deposits, such as Shuajingsi Lianhecun, Gala and Jinmuda, indicates a great potential for gold mineralization in this area. Based on the regional metallogenic law and ore-forming conditions, using remote sensing technology, the regional structural framework in NW, E-W and near S-N directions is established. The abstraction of alteration information is optimized. A regional remote sensing exploration model is built. With integrated information of remote sensing, geology and geochemical exploration, the target areas are forecasted by GIS.
