Abstract：In order to guarantee the authenticity of the comprehensive result of the geological survey in mined-out area, this paper analyzes and summarizes the work procedure and measures. Based on the preliminary definition and classification for the mined-out areas, according to the relevant requirements by the investigation work, seven steps are suggested to carry out a comprehensive geological survey.
