Abstract:In the 1:50 000 scale regional geological survey of Hazhunanshan Sheet in Beishan area, Inner Mongolia, digital geological mapping based on the core of Digital Geological Survey Information System (DGSInfo) is completely applied and shows good effect. This paper systemically introduces to the preparation, field data collection, information arrangement and result database submitting. The authors also analyze the accuracy and high efficiency as well as some shortcomings of digital geological mapping.
