Abstract:In the arid and semiarid grasslands, the conventional methods of geochemical exploration are not much effective for the rare outcrop and interference of aeolian sand. A test study of soil electro-conductivity survey and soil mobile element survey is carried out in the area of Xinbarerhu Youqi, Inner Mongolia. In mining area, the underground orebodies can be reflected obviously by the soil conductivity survey. The soil mobile element survey can be used to distinguish the mining area from non-mining area. In unknown areas, both methods well delineated anomalies, with distinct concentration centers.
