Abstract:A method to detect Ba and Sr in barite by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) is proposed. The influence of the base element on the detecting of Sr and its solution is studied. The relative standard deviations (RSD, n=12) of Ba and Sr are 0.74% and 3.3%, respectively. The method is simple, quick and accurate.
