Abstract:The north part of Erenhot in Inner Mongolia, located in the west of the Erenhot-Dongwuqi copper-polymetal metallogenic belt, is with great potential for metallogeny. Based on the 1:250000 scale digital regional geological survey, the GIS technique is used in technical routes, data acquiring, spatial database process and layer management. The threedimensional visualization of relief map is realized by the topographic map database in the digital terrain model sub-system (DTM). With study on the basic geology, aeromagnetic, gravity geochemical anomalies, the metallogenic regularities are summarized. Five perspective areas of metallogeny are delineated.
