Abstract：With the increasing difficulty of prospecting, the exploration based on the combination of multi-information and various methods has become the common measure. One of the key problems that geologists are facing is how to utilize the available mineral exploration information reasonably and quickly to serve new deposit searching. Based on the research of exploration information, a prospecting information management system for metallic deposit is designed and developed by the authors, with MapObject as developing platform and Visual Basic 6.0 as developing language.
