Abstract:Magmatic rocks, especially hypabyssal intrusive and ultra-hypabyssal intrusive rocks, are broadly spread in Penglai area, Eastern Shandong Province. They have intimate relation to the distributions of some kinds of ores (fluorite, polymetal etc.). With study of geological and petrological characteristic of the newly-built Yushan Superunit (hypabyssal intrusive rock), the paper analyzes the data of petrochemistry, REE and microelements, and discusses the material sources, tectonic environment, origin and emplacement mechanism of the rock body.
