Abstract：The Kuandian volcano group is situated on the northeast margin of Yingkou-Kuandian ancient uplift, where volcanic eruptions of multistage during the period of 0. 12 to 8 Ma generated various volcanic rocks with special geological landscapes. The volcanic rocks contain a large amount of upper mantle peridotite enclosures and giant crystal minerals. The special geologic and geomorphologic characteristics of volcano group have important value for scientific research and sightseeing.
