Abstract:The Hailar-Xinzhangfang faulted zone in Daxinganling area is a multi-stage moved fault, which provides space for the emplacement and eruption of magmatic activities during Mesozoic era,and controls the distribution of Mesozoic geologic bodies. The geologic bodies on each sides of the fault are different in distribution and scale.A regional geological survey and mapping in this area reveals that the Hailar-Xinzhangfeng faulted zone is a large strike-slip fault. It displays various structural characters in different periods. The fault is also the demarcation line of regional tectonic elements. On the east is upwelling area, whille down warping region on the west.
