Abstract The Early Precambrian basement in Eastern Heilongjiang Province is characterized by complicated structures, frequent magmatism, intense deformation and metamorphism, and special metallogenesis. With study on the geological characteristics of the basement and typical deposits in the area, the metallogenetic series as well as their ore-forming model and evolving features are discussed. That is significant for the understanding and exploring of Early Precambrian precious metallic deposits, nonferrous metallic deposits and nonmetallic (graphite and sillimanite) deposits in Heilongjiang Province.
