Abstract Based on a long period of practical study on the regional geology in Daxinganling region, combined with the newest data of land and resources investigation, the Mesozoic volcanic rocks in the area are researched and correlated in the aspects of eruption cycle, volcanic lithology, lithochemistry, paleontology and isotopic geochronology. The Mesozoic volcanic rocks in Daxinganling region are divided into six volcanic eruption cycles, respectively corresponding to six volcanic stratigraphic units.
