Abstract In Northeast China, of Paleozoic, there is one stratigraphic break in the south part and three in the north part, i.e. Ordovician, latest Late Silurian-Early Devonian and late Early Carboniferous-Late Carboniferous. They correspond with the stages of Paleo-Asian Ocean tectonic domain, ended at Early Triassic. After the last break, the Paleozoic strata of the north and south started to develop synchronously.
