Abstract The 1:50000 stream sediment survey in Hushan-Yongdian area, Liaoning Province, reveals that the anomalous elements are highly concentrated, of which Au, As and Bi show large variation coefficients. Based on the geochemical characteristics of each element, the authors delineate the single element anomalies of Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn, Mo, As, Sb and Bi, as well as seven integrated anomalies of multi-elements. With the distribution characteristics of anomalies in this area, the prospecting significance of the anomalies are evaluated. Furthermore, four best metallogenic forecasted areas are delineated.
