Abstract The metadata of the Spatial Database of 1:200 000 Regional Geologic Map of Northeast China is adopted from the 1:200 000 regional geologic reports and geologic maps of Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia in the database. The metadata construction of the database has been completed, with 201 sheets of maps, including 40 of Liaoning, 31 of Jilin, 61 of Heilongjiang and 69 of Eastern Inner Mongolia, generally covering the Daxinganling metallogenic belt and Eastern Liaoning-Southern Jilin metallogenic belt. This database is now published online for realtime application, with a broad prospect.
