Abstract The small-medium sized Jijiawa gold deposit of tectonic altered rock type is located in the Xiong'ershan gold field. Research on the geology and wallrock alteration of the deposit shows that the gold mineralization is closely related to silicification and pyritization. The gold carrier is dominated by metal sulfides. The wall rock alteration zoning, with strongest gold mineralization in the center, is obvious.
