Abstract The studied area is located in the Tahe transitional belt on the east margin of Emuershan central uplift, Erguna massif, where alluvial gold resources are abundant, with favorable geological condition for metallogenesis. Based on the analysis on the strata, magmatic rocks, tectonic, geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing of the area, the ore-forming regularity is concluded. The best places for ore-prospecting are located. The key factors for mineralization are discussed.
