Abstract The Hydrogeologic Space Database of Investigation and Assessment for Groundwater in Western Song-Liao Plain adopts MS Office Access 2000 for date inputting,with the software of MapGIS as a graphic tool platform.To establish the database,a uniform standardized style and an operation guide is followed.An instruction manual is made according to the investigation and assessment project.A uniform sub-graph database system is established,adopting geographic base maps with the same scale as basic graphs for the database.Before the inputting and linking of inner attributes,the result graphs between each sector should be matched together.
