DELINEATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF TARGETS IN MAOYANGTOU URANIUM OREFIELD BY MRAS-BASED EIGEN-ANALYSIS

Abstract:The ore-forming characteristics of the Maoyangtou uranium orefield in Fujian Province are thoroughly analyzed, with collecting, summing up and processing of the multi-source information of geology, minerals and remote sensing. Supported by the Mineral Resources Assessment System(MRAS), the eigen-analysis method of man-machine interaction is adopted to predict and evaluate the uranium resource in the orefield. Sixteen targets are preliminarily delineated, of which eight are optimized. The result will provide significant references for further exploration for the volcanic type of uranium deposits in this area.
