Abstract:The biological accumulation coefficient(BAC)of Au, Ag and Cu in eight sorts of plant leaves was investigated in Zhaoyuan gold field in Shandong Province. The result shows that the values of CuBAC in Paulownia leaves and AgBAC in Quercus acutissima carr leaves are high, but AuBAC presents little difference in the eight sorts of leaves. Regression analysis indicates that the concentration of Au and Ag in Spruce leaf is closely correlated to that in soils, in accord with the laws of plant selective absorption and mass action. The measurement of concentration of Au and coexisting elements in plant leaves is an auxiliary method in gold deposit exploring.
