Abstract The Sandaocha gold deposit, occurring in the greenstone belt of massif marginal rift type in the east part of the northern margin of North China massif, is one of the large-scale deposits in Jiapigou gold ore field, Jilin province. It is strictly controlled by the NW-trending arc structural belt and the N-S-trending secondary structure. Archean greenstone belt, N-S-trending brittle-ductile shear zone, dike rock and ore body compose the particular geological setting of Sandaocha gold deposit, which is known as the "four-in-one" ore-forming model. The low-resistance, high-polarization and slow-attenuation abnormality of inspire polarization is the reflection of ore body. The synthetic abnormality of Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, As, F and Hg(gas) can be regarded as the assessment index of soil geochemical survey. Such a synthetic abnormality model is one of the applications of synthetic geologic model.
