Abstract:The Jinying gold deposit in Baishan City, Jilin Province is tectonically located in the northeastern margin of Liaodong anteclise, Sino-Korean metaplatform. It occurs in the silicified tectonic breccia belt between the Neoproterozoic Diaoyutai quartzose sandstone and the Paleoproterozoic Zhenzhumen silicated dolomitic marble. The orebodies are jointly controlled by the regional fault F102 and local fault F100. The special forming environment and physical-chemical conditions make its unique assemblage of minerals and texture of ores. This deposit belongs to a new type recently found in China, the Mesozoic orogenic type.
