425 PROGRESS ON THE STUDY OF THE MIDDLE JURASSIC XINMIN FORMATION IN SOUTHEASTERN DAXINGANLING MOUNTAINS
DING Qiu-hong, WANG Jie, LI Xiao-hai, YAO Yu-lai, LI Wen-bo
By means of field geological investigation, geological section survey, drilling core logging, fossil study and isotopic dating, combined with the comprehensive analysis of previous data, it is concluded that the Xinmin Formation is mainly a set of volcanic rocks and pyroclastic rocks with coal deposits, bearing mid flora of Coniopteris-Phoenicopsis, bivalve fossil assemblage of Ferganoconcha tomiensis-F. elongate and sporopollen assemblage of Osmundacidites-Lycopodiumsporites-Piceites, which belong to Middle Jurassic. The zircon U-Pb age of volcanic rocks is 161.6 Ma; while that of detrital rocks is between 175±2 Ma and 2537±20 Ma. The youngest age of detrital rocks (175±2 Ma) represents the lower deposition limit of Xinmin Formation. The research results would provide essential data and scientific basis for the Middle Jurassic stratigraphic classification and correlation, as well as the establishment and perfection of the Mesozoic stratigraphic framework in Southeastern Daxinganling Mountains.

439 DISCUSSION ON THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN JURASSIC AND CRETACEOUS IN SOUTH-CENTRAL DAXINGANLING REGION, INNER MONGOLIA
QU Hong-xiang, XU Huan, GONG Quan-de, DU Shi-shu, GAO Wen-bo, ZHONG Mi-shan, TAN Chao, WANG Yi-shu, WU Hao, ZHANG Lei, CHEN Ze-han
By discussion on the unconformity between Jurassic and Cretaceous in the south-central Daxinganling region, combining with regional stratigraphic correlation and isotope data, the boundary with identifiablity, objectivity and stability is determined. With study on the geotectonic setting for the forming of major strata, it is believed that the Tuchengzi Formation is a set of continental redbeds formed in the collision of post-orogenic extensional tectonic stage and is also the marker bed of the end of Jurassic, while Manketouebo Formation, Manitu Formation and Baiyingaolao Formation are volcanic strata formed in the post-collisional orogenic collapse tectonic stage. The Cretaceous crustal evolution begins with massive volcanic eruptions. The boundary of Jurassic and Cretaceous is between the Tuchengzi Formation and Manketouebo Formation, which is characterized by regional unconformity or disconformity. The unconformity surface is formed in the transition period from extension to collapse of post-collisional orogeny tectonic background.

445 THE EVOLUTION HISTORY OF LIAOHE ROCK GROUP: From the Present to the Past
ZHONG Mi-shan, WANG Hai-peng, GUO Hong-fang, WANG Zhong-jiang, AO Guang, ZHAI Fu-rong, TAN Chao
Research on the evolution characteristics of the Pacific Ocean and Paleo-Asian Ocean gives us some enlightenment for the forming history of Liaohe Group. It can be inferred that the Liaohe Group is not a vanished rift but more likely reaches the oceanic basin of at least Atlantic and Pacific stages. The closing compressive orogeny of ocean basin is a long progressive deformation process which may last several hundred million years. All the structural features formed in the process belong to the same stage. The foliation in Liaohe Group is mainly structural replaced foliation. Therefore the strata should be restored as what it really is by lithologic mapping rather than the Smith stratigraphy principle.

453 DISCOVERY AND GEOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE LATE NEOPROTEROZOIC GRANITE IN HUANERKU, DAXINGANLING REGION
LIU Yu-wai, DU Bing-ying, ZHANG Tie-an, ZHAO Ming-sheng, ZHAO Yu-sheng, LIU Yu-qi, ZHEN Miao, LUO Jia-xin
The latest research shows that the assemblage of ophiolite is developed in Jifeng, Gaxian and Huanerku areas along the eastern part of Xinlin-Xiguituqi fault in Daxinganling Mountains. Based on the study, the LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb age of 557.2±2.2 Ma is obtained from the granite in the ophiolitic melange in Huanerku area, indicating it was formed in Neoproterozoic period. The rock is generally characterized by slightly poor alkali, weakly peraluminous calc-alkaline with indistinct negative Eu anomaly, enrichment of LREEs and Hf, Ba, Nd and U, and relative depletion of Th, Nb, Ta and Zr, belonging to weak peraluminous calc-alkaline I-type granite. Considering the existence of Neoproterozoic ocean basin in Xinlin-Jifeng area, it is concluded that the granite is possibly the product of ocean subduction.

LI Cheng-fu, CHANG Ge-hong, ZHAO Juan, SHI Lian-chang, LI De-biao, ZHAO Ming-fu, XU Bo
Study on the geochemical characteristics of the Ordovician volcanic rocks in Kuangou area, Qinghai Province, shows that the content of SiO2 is 46.74%-53.35%, with Na2O+K2O of 3.71%-7.63% and K2O/Na2O of 0.07-4.16, belonging to peraluminous low potassium calc-alkaline-alkaline series. The REEs are characterized by ∑REE of 96.19×10-6-119.37×10-6, LREE/HREE of 2.97-6.07, δEu of 0.70-0.86 and (La/Yb)N of 2.23-7.2. The chondrite-normalized REE patterns are right-dipping smooth curves with weak positive Eu anomaly and enriched LREEs. The study on trace elements indicates that the La/Nb value is 1.57-3.08, Zr/Hf 35.28-48.23, with enrichment of LILEs such as K, Rb, Ba, Th and LREE and depletion of HFSEs(Nb, P and Ti), which are similar to the geochemical characteristics of island-arc environment. Based on the comprehensive analysis, it is considered that the volcanic rocks in Kuangou area, showing the characteristics of oceanic island basalt, with magma derived from the partial melting of enriched mantle, are formed in the intra-ocean island arc settings associated with oceanic plate subduction.

467 SEDIMENTARY SYSTEM AND STRUCTURAL GENESIS OF KONGDIAN FORMATION IN JIYANG DEPRESSION
LIU Jian-bao, YAN Yun-ming, SONG Zhi-min, CUI Shu-jun, LIAN You-xuan
The Jiyang Depression, one of the main petroliferous basins in eastern China with fairly complex geological structures, is the most typical area for petroliferous basin study. Based on the seismic and drilling data, this paper studies the structural control on the sedimentary systems of Kongdian Formation which is the main reservoir. The Kongdian Formation is characterized by typical early continental strike-slip and extensional fault basin with fast-accumulated episodic filling of multisource. Alluvial fan and fan delta are the two main types of sandy sedimentary system. Gypsum salt, limestone and rhythmic-bedding mudstone in dry playa are distributed in deep sags. Three types of steep slope boundaries share the common characteristics of nearshore sediments, but differ in horizontal and vertical distribution of sedimentation. Compared with steep slope boundaries, the sedimentary facies of gentle slope boundary are relatively simple with underdeveloped alluvial fan and nearshore subaqueous fan, wide facies belts and farther-transported sediments.

473 GEOCHEMISTRY AND GENESIS OF THE XIAODONGDAGOU GOLD DEPOSIT IN JINGYU COUNTY, JILIN PROVINCE
YANG Xi-ming, SUN Feng-yue, PENG Bo, LIU Jin-long, LI Liang
The Xiaodongdagou gold deposit is located in the Wangjiadian-Tianhexing polymetallic metallogenic belt in the eastern section of northern margin of the North China plate, with orebodies controlled by fault structures. The mineralization is closely related to the dikes of granite porphyry and diorite. Study on fluid inclusion indicates that the ore-forming fluid in the main metallogenic stage is characterized by medium-low temperature (180-240℃), low salinity (8%-11%) and low density (0.92-0.98 g/cm3). The analysis result of hydrogen and oxygen isotopes shows that the ore-forming fluid is mainly from juvenile water in mantle mixed with later atmospheric precipitation. The sulfur is originated from magma based on sulfur isotope analysis. Considering the regional geological background and analysis results, it is believed that the Xiaodongdagou gold deposit of medium-low temperature hydrothermal vein type is the product of continental marginal magmatic arc activity formed by the subduction of the marginal Pacific Plate to Eurasia continent.

479 TECTONIC GEOCHEMISTRY OF FAULTS IN BANSHIGOU IRON DEPOSIT, BAISHAN CITY, JILIN PROVINCE
MU Hong-yu, LIU Zheng-hong, JIA Da-cheng, LI Peng-chuan, LU En-lan
The change rule of element migration in fault structures is one of the main concerns for tectonic geochemical study. The fault structure of Banshigou iron deposit in Baishan City, Jilin Province, is well developed. With survey on the No. 17 ore group from Banshigou iron deposit and typical reverse fault section in Zhaojiagou ore group, collecting tectonite and surrounding rock samples, analyzing major elements and trace elements, the distribution characteristics and migration patterns of elements in reverse fault are reflected by geochemistry section method, isocon analysis and characteristic element ratio. Based on the analysis, it is assumed that the major elements such as SiO2, Fe2O3, CaO and Na2O are depleted in reverse fault, while Al2O3 and K2O are concentrated, with enriched long ion radius trace elements like Rb and Sr, depleted minor ion radius Co, Cr, Ni. The ratios of characteristic elements K2O/Na2O, V/Cr and Rb/(Ni+Co) show high value and SiO2/Al2O3,(Fe2O3+CaO+MgO)/Al2O3 low value. The tectonic geochemical characteristics above can judge the existence of fault structure, and provide basis for tectonic geochemical study and Banshigou iron deposit prospecting.

489 ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT EXPLORATION AND UTILIZATION SITUATION OF NICKEL RESOURCES IN QINGHAI PROVINCE
YANG Yan-qian, MA Yan-jing, MA Yu-hui, TAN Yan, QI Chang-wei, BAO Shan-bing, YU Xiao-liang
The world's nickel resources occur in three types:lateritic nickel, nickel sulfide and nickel-manganese nodules on the ocean floor. The nickel reserve of China, dominated by nickel sulfide type, comes ninth in the world. The northwest region of China is the main production place for nickel sulfide resources. In recent years, with the discovery of the Xiarihamu super-large Cu-Ni sulfide deposit and other deposits/occurrences with great metallogenic potential in Qinghai Province, the subsequent Cu-Ni resources development within the province will be hopefully realized. The analysis on nickel resources distribution, exploration and development in Qinghai and the global nickel supply-demand changes would provide reference for the country's nickel investment, exploitation and management.

494 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE HEMATITIZATION AND URANIUM MINERALIZATION IN HUANGGOU URANIUM DEPOSIT, EASTERN LIAONING PROVINCE
WU Di, LYU Zhi-ping, ZHANG Yang, ZHAO Xing-bo, HAN Yi-peng
The paragenesis of hematitization and uranium mineralization is discovered in the exploration of Huanggou uranium deposit in Liaoning Province. Based on the hand specimen observation and SEM chemical analysis, it is believed that the hematitization belongs to metallogenic alteration, which is presented in brick red and dark brown colors. In the brick red-colored hematitization, biotite rock is incompletely altered into chlorite and would provide certain indication for uranium deposit. While in the dark brown alteration, almost all the biotite is replaced with chlorite, which can be taken as a significant prospecting indicator.

500 GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND ORE PROSPECTING IN NORTHERN XIAOHONGSHAN, GOLMUD, QINGHAI PROVINCE
WANG Jia-yin, HAN Jie, KANG Ji-zu, TAN Yan, MO Yan-qiang, QI Chang-wei
The northern part of Xiaohongshan, located in the middle of Eastern Kunlun metallogenic belt, mainly belongs to the Xueshanfeng-Buerhanbuda Variscan-Indosinian Co-Au-Cu and jade metallogenic belt, with favorable ore-forming geological conditions. Both stream sediments and soil geochemical survey show high intensity of Au anomalies. The gold mineralized bodies are mainly occurred in the Ordovician-Silurian Nachitai Group, including carbonate rock assemblage, metamorphic detrital rock assemblage and acidic-intermediate volcanic rock. The stream sediments from anomaly areas Hs65 and Hs93 show obvious three-level zoning with high anomaly intensity. The 1:10 000 soil survey reveals high soil anomaly intensity of Au, Cu, As and Sb, with overlapped anomaly curves. One gold orebody and six mineralized bodies are verified and controlled by surface trenching engineering. With comprehensive analysis on the ore-forming geological conditions and geochemistry in northern Xiaohongshan, it is promising to find gold deposits with further exploration in the study area.

505 GEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND GEOLOGICAL IMPLICATION OF THE JILING DIABASE IN GANSU PROVINCE
GAO Yu, ZHAO Ru-yi, WANG Gang, NIE Li
As one of the important factors for uranium metallogenesis in southern China, diabase occurs around the Jiling sodium-metasomatic uranium deposit. With study on petrology, petrography, geochemistry and isotopic chronology, it is confirmed that the diabase surrounding the Jiling uranium deposit is the product of upwelling alkali basaltic magma, which is characterized by rich-aluminum (15.97%-19.21%), high-alkali (4.36%-6.89%), med-titanium (1.18%-2.02%) and weak negative Eu anomaly. The chondrite-normalized REE patterns show strong LREE and weak HREE fractionations, with relatively enriched LILEs (Rb and Ba) and incompatible elements (Th and U), and depleted HFSE (Nb, Ta, Hf and Ti). The LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb age of the diabase is 485 Ma, indicating it was formed in Early Ordovician. Both the MgO contents (3.79%-8.22%) and Mg# values (42.4-66.5) vary greatly. The basic magma underwent the fractional crystallization of olivine, pyroxene and plagioclase before its emplacement into the crust. The Jiling diabase in the Longshoushan metallogenic belt marks the beginning of post-collisional extension setting, in which the upwelling mantle with heat brought the formation and evolution of acidic magma and alkaline rock, as well as the sodium-metasomatic uranium mineralization.

JIA Li-guo, ZHANG Fan, CAI He, LI Xiao
To meet the urgent need of potential water sources for the Zhejiang Industrial Park in Dongning City, on the basis of observation and study of existing wells, the methods of high density resistivity and induced polarization are combined to establish a geophysical model for water resources exploration. With further prospecting in related areas, combining the hydrogeological data and well completion conditions to delineate well locations, the success rate of drilling is up to 100% by verification. Analysis on the actual application effect of multiple geophysical methods in the area shows that the combination of high density resistivity and induced polarization methods can improve the accuracy of water exploration and well completion in groundwater prospecting application with similar hydrogeological conditions.
