511 SEDIMENTARY CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TILLITE IN YINTUN AND YONGNING FORMATIONS, NANHUA SYSTEM, IN LIAONING PROVINCE
LU Chong-hai, XING De-he, ZHANG Yao-hua, LUO Jian-min, LIU Pu-rui, LIU Guang-xu, LU Si-qiao, XIE Xin-zhu
The term of Nanhua System was officially issued in the China Stratigraphic Chart in Guide of China Stratigraphy and Manual (revised edition) published in 2001. The stratotype section of Nanhua system was established mainly in Guizhou, Hunan and Hubei in south China. Whether Nanhua strata exist in north China, is a controversial issue for many researchers with different division schemes. Through research on Neoproterozoic Yintun and Yongning formations outcropped in Liaoning region, the authors obtain the new idea that Nanhua strata do exist in Liaoning. Represented by Neoproterozoic Yintun Formation and Yongning Formation, the sedimentation of two glacial movements (including two glacial periods and one interglacial period) can be recognized. Based on the assemblage features and contact relation of the till in Yintun and Yongning formations, combined with the detrital zircon U-Pb(LA-ICP-Ms) isotopic age data, the forming ages of Yintun and Yongning formations of Nanhua System in Liaoning are supposed to be less than 1000 Ma, which is almost at the same time or slightly earlier than the Nanhua System in south China(~850 Ma).

521 ZIRCON LA-ICP-MS U-Pb GEOCHRONOLOGY OF THE DIABASE DIKES IN AOHAN QI, INNER MONGOLIA: Indication for the Activity of Chifeng-Kaiyuan Deep Fault
CHEN Jing-sheng, LU Chong-hai, LI Bin, LI Wei, LIU Miao
Diabase dikes, which are derived from the mantle, can be used as an indicator of deep fault activities. During the 1:50000 geology survey in Aohan Qi area, Inner Mogolia, the authors identified near east-west extended diabase dikes in the Paleoproterozoic Baoyintu group in Xingjiawopu. The zircon U-Pb LA-ICP-MS dating of the diabase dikes show five age groups:603-521 Ma, 450 Ma, 259-262 Ma, 237 Ma and 167.4±3.0 Ma. The youngest age (167.4±3.0 Ma) represents the cooling age of the dikes, indicating the activation of Chifeng-Kaiyuan deep fracture in Middle Jurassic. The other ages are also corresponding to the magmatic activities of different periods in Chifeng area. The formation and evolution of the Chifeng-Kaiyuan deep fault are summarized by combination with previous literatures.

526 ZIRCON U-Pb DATING AND GEOCHEMISTRY OF THE VOLCANIC ROCKS OF TAMULANGOU FORMATION IN THE SOUTH EDGE OF MOHE BASIN: Geological implication
LI Zhu-min, SHI Shao-shan, LI Yu-hua, WANG Yu-li, SHI Jian-min, JIANG Shan
The paper studies the zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating and lithogeochemistry of the Mesozoic basaltic andesite of the Tamulangou Formation from the south edge of Mohe Basin in Northern Daxinganling to define its formation age and the relation between volcanic activities and the evolution of Mohe fault basin. The dating result shows that the age of the basaltic andesite ranges from 129 to 147 Ma, belonging to Early Cretaceous. The volcanic rocks of the Tamulangou Formation are mainly of high-K calc-alkaline series, with enrichment in large ion lithophile elements(LILEs)and light rare earth elements (LREE) and depletion in high field strength elements (HFSEs). The magmatic source of the volcanic rocks was originated from partial melting of enriched mantle and probably contaminated by upper crustal materials during the ascending. The geochemical characteristics and tectonic background indicate that the volcanic rocks of the Tamulangou Formation was formed in a continental intraplate extensional environment, and related to the Mesozoic faulted structure of the Mohe Basin.

532 GEOCHRONOLOGICAL EVIDENCE OF U-Pb FOR THE DAPANDAO ROCK FORMATION OF DONGXING GROUP IN JIAMISI BLOCK
ZHAO Li-guo, WANG Lei, LI Juan-juan, WANG Jian-min
In order to identify the formation age and geological background of the Dapandao rock formation of Xingdong rock group in central Jiamusi block in Shuangyashan area, Heilongjiang Province, the authors analyze the major elements of the formation. The results indicate that the metamorphic rocks in this area are chemically characterized by aluminum enrichment. The protolith are possibly sandstone, argillite, silicalite and dolomite with intermediate-basic volcanic rocks, belonging to island arc and low-K tholeiite series. The tectonic environment might be active island arc and continental margin. The zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating result for the garnet sillimanite feldspar gneiss of Dapandao formation shows that the volcanic rock of Xingdong rock group in the Jiamusi block should be more than 1000 Ma. Therefore the Dapandao rock formation was formed in the Meso-Neoproterozoic Era.

539 METALLOGENIC CHARACTERISTICS AND PROSPECTING DIRECTION OF MAIN MESOZOIC METAL DEPOSITS IN EASTERN JILIN AND HEILONGJIANG
ZHANG Sen, ZHANG Di, KOU Lin-lin
The eastern part of Jinlin and Heilongjiang provinces is a very important metallogenic belt with great potential in Northeast China. Yanshanian is the most significant metallogenic period of the area. The prospective ore deposits involve two major types. One is veinlet-disseminated Mo deposits and contact metasomatic Fe-polymetallic deposits, which are related to the Early Yanshanian magmatic intrusive activities. The other is epithermal Au (Ag) deposits and porphyryepithermal Au (Cu) deposits, which are connected with Late Yanshanian volcanic eruption-ultra hypabyssal intrusion. The favorable prospecting areas are: 1) the distribution of Early Yanshanian adamellite, granodiorite and granodiorite porphyry in Yichun-Bindong-Jidong; 2) the Late Yanshanian terrestrial volcanic rock distribution in the south of Huma-HeiheXunke-Jiayin; and 3) the Late Yanshanian terrestrial volcanic rock and ultra hypabyssal intrusion distribution in DongningWangqing-Hunchun.

545 IMPACT OF THE DIFFERENCES OF LOCAL TECTONIC ENVIRONMENT EVOLUTION TO MINERALIZATION:A Case Study of the Dongwujiazi and Paishanlou Gold Deposits in Western Liaoning
ZHANG Jing, SHAO Jun, ZHAO Dong-fang, ZHOU Yong-heng, WANG Hong-bo
The Dongwujiazi gold deposit and Paishanlou gold deposit in Western Liaoning Province are distributed closely. Both tectonically belong to the eastern section of the north margin of North China Block, occurring in the Neoarchean metamorphic supracrustal rock and plutonic rock series. However, the two deposits have significant differences in metallogenic mechanism, epoch and characteristics. After comparing the characteristics of the two deposits, we believe that the different local tectonic environment evolutions resulted in the diversity of mineralization. Meanwhile, the theory of "wave transmission" can well explain the phenomenon of concentrated distribution pattern of quartz-vein type gold deposits in Baoguolao Uplift of Inner Mongolia Axis versus sparse distribution pattern of ductile shear zone altered rock type gold deposits in Beizhen Uplift of Yanshanian Fold Belt. Finally, the Jiumiao Uplift, which shares similar local tectonic environment to Baoguolao Uplift, has few gold deposits but obvious geochemical Au anomaly. Therefore it is possible to find gold deposits of "Dongwujiazi style" in this area.

554 GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PROSPECTING INDICATORS OF THE LINGYUAN-FUXIN GOLD METALLOGENIC BELT IN LIAONING PROVINCE
LI Wei
The Lingyuan-Fuxin metallogenic belt is a significantly important gold metallogenic zone in Liaoning Province, outcropped with various formations, among which the Xiaotazigou Formation of Jianping Group has the closest relation with gold deposit. Tectonic movements developed from Archean to Mesozoic Eras with large-scale structural activities, which controlled the magmatic invasion and the formation and distribution of gold deposits. There are two types of gold deposits in the area, i.e. auriferous quartz vein type and subvolcanic hydrothermal type. Based on analysis of regional geological background and typical deposit characteristics, the author summarizes the ore prospecting indicators of host strata of gold, structural controls of deposits and the spatiotemporal relation between intrusive rocks and gold deposits.

567 A PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS ON THE METALLOGENESIS OF GOLD DEPOSITS IN XIAOSHAN AREA, HENAN PROVINCE
GAO Shuai, GAO Xi, GAO Ling
Xiaoshan area, with a variety of mineral resources, is a significant metallogenic zone of nonferrous and precious metals in western Henan Province. The general tectonic framework is the Xiaoshan metamorphic core complex structure, with the core of metamorphic rock series of Taihua Group, surrounded by the volcanic rock cover of Xionger Group. The geological conditions are ideal for metallogenesis, with favorable ore-bearing rock series, developed ore host structures and great resources potential. The favorable strata, structures and magmatic rocks composite the ore-forming model for gold deposits, which would be a useful guide for the prospecting in the area.

587 ANALYSIS ON THE SPATIAL LOCALIZATION AND OCCURRENCE OF WANTIAN GEOTHERMAL FIELD IN ANREN COUNTY, HUNAN PROVINCE
PENG Wen-biao, WANG Bo, TAO Feng, DENG Hai-fei
Present study on the geothermal system in Wantian geothermal field reveals the relationships between the geothermal characteristics and geological composition. The Wantian geothermal field is associated with particular geological conditions, such as Changde-Anren fault, Chaling-Linwu fault and their derived faults, Wufengxian granite body and the strata of Lower Carboniferous(C1y1), with specific geothermal geological background. The effective allocation in time-space of geothermal system consisting of heat source, reservoir and cap rock is a necessary condition for geothermal occurrence. The main geothermal reservoir of the geothermal field is the Lower Carboniferous dolomitic limestone or dolomite, including both of stratified reservoir and zoned reservoir. The Wantian geothermal field is a kind of economical low temperature geothermal resources with medical hot mineral water quality, suitable for mining and with developing prospects.
