5 THE OUTLINE OF GOLD DEPOSITS IN AXI AREA, XINJIANG

The gold deposits of Axi area in Yining county of xinjiang indicate those which con trolled by Tulasu volcanic basin in the north part of west Tianshan, including Axi, Xier-mande, Qiabukandangta etc. Based on Caledonides in west Tianshan, the Tulasu volcanic basin was formed in pull-apart environment in Late Palaeozoic, with E-Wextension, the length of 80km and the width of 20km approrimately. The basement of the basin had two lager structure of pre -Sinian crystalline rock series and Lower palaeozoic unmetamorphic sedimentary series. The basin was separated from Yili basin and Sailimu uplifting by thelarge faults on south and north boundaries respectively. The geological body related to gold deposit include continental intermediate -acid volcanic eruptive rock series of Dahalajunshan formation (C1) and corresponding subvolcanic body which belong to calc-alkalic-alkalic series association; sedementary rock of Aqialehe formation (C1) and K-feldspar porphyry rock body (C2). The basin can be divided into three grades volcanic structure; the ist grade is volcanic basin which controlled gold ore belt;the 2 nd is S-N striking fault belt which controlled gold orefield; the 3rd is volcanic mechanism which controlled gold ore. The main types of gold deposit are as follows:① adular -sericite type of epithermal system (e.g. Axi) and silicified rock type (e.g. Yiermade); ②porphyry type (e. g. Tawuerbieke);③gold -bearing breccia type. The metallogenic epoch of the 1st type is Early Carboniferous (324.4-338.2 Ma), the adular-sericite type appeared as vein orebody and controlled by volcanic mechanism, and the silicified rock type appeared as plane orebody, with lower grade, far away from volcanic mechanism and controlled by volcanic cycle and rock series.
The discovery of Axi and Yiermande etc. gold deposits indicate that important breakthrough in gold ore prospecting have been realized in west Tianshan and mean that a new gold producing base will set up in the west of China. In metallogenic epoch and metallogenic environment, this kind of epithermal gold deposit is different from the former one which oc-cured in Cenozoic island arc area, and also different from the one which occured in Mesozoic superimposed volcanic basin of intraplate crystalline basement in east of China, while similar to the one which occured in volcanic basin of Palaeozoic orogenic belt. Therefore, this paper has great significance in expanding the prospecting area of epithermal deposit and improving the study on regional metallogenics of Eurasian continent.

22 GEOTECTONIC EVOLUTION AND GEOTECTONIC MINERALIZATION ZONES OF GOLD DEPOSIT IN SOUTHWESTERN OF SICHUAN, CHINA

With the theory of plate tectonic,the geotectonic evolution in south-western of Sichuan Province has been analysised and recovered thoroughly. By discussing the geotectonic specialization to gold deposit mineralization, the author suggested a concept of gold geotectonic mineralization zone, then divided the zones in this area. The geotectonic controlling to different zones and its main mineralization geologic features were described, too. The writer thinks the prospecting direction for gold deposit in this region can be definited by contrasting the found deposits and its stypes with the spealization deposit types in the same zone.

33 THE DEPOSIT FEATURE OF ZUOJIAZHUANG GOLD DEPOSIT IN SHAANXI PROVINCE

The metallogenic matter come from near ore stratum,the hydrothermal water come from syngenetic sedimentation water,and formation of the sulfide quartz vein are ore -bearing hydrothermal fluid be filled along hidden face of the sinistral shear fault be recognized in Zuoji-azhuang. The pyroelectricity is measured to main carrying -gold mineral pyrite.the result re fleeted that the pyrite is hole conduction, and have calculated deposit to denude no much,belong to upper outcropping.

40 THE ISOTOPE-GEOCHEMISTRY CHARACTER OF MESOTHERMAL GOLD DEPOSITS IN TONGBAI-DABIE AREA

H. O, S, Pb isotopic date of the mesothermal Au deposits in Tongbai -Dabie area were collected and sorted out. Analysis of the results showed that there were different sources about fluids, sulfur and ore -forming elements in metallogenic fluids. The fluids mainly belong to precipitate waters, and sulfur and ore -forming elements came from some types of rocks that the fluids went through when the fluids permeated down and returned up in the continental crust. The Au minerallization scales in this area obviously were influfluenced by the characters of the metallogenic fluids.

48 GENESIS OF NIUJUAN HOT-SPRING TYPE Ag (Au) DEPOSIT IN HEBEI PROVINCE

This deposit is one of important Ag deposits found recently in the north part of He-bei. In this paper basing on the work of predecessors and many geologic observtions of surface, producing area, drilling cores, from the genesis of siliceous breecia, the divide of ore-foroming stages, ore forming physio-chemical conditions, inclusion etc, authors discuss the genesis of this deposit and give a metallogenic model Ore-forming tempheratures of this deposit are relatively high (220 -350℃), metallogenic press are low (less than 260×105Pa), the depth is 0. 42-0. 86km, the forming environment is the subsurface environment, the ore-forming fluid is of characters of low salinity (less than 3. 35wt% NaCl), rich in K+, Cl-, F-, SO42-, poor in Na+, Ca2+, so it belongs to a typical hot spring type deposit.

59 THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GEOLOGICAL TECTONIC IN THE NORTH BELT OF BEISHAN

This paper proves that Beishan area belongs to Tarim plate north margin, and discusses evolutionary series of geological tectonics. Beishan area can be divided into three belt; north belt, intermediate belt, south belt. It can be divided in to four stages; forming ancient continental crust in Precambrian,island arc and rifting -closure within continental margin in Caledonian, tectono-magmatic activation succeeding as arc and second rifting-closure in Her-cynides, and fault block disparity elevator in Mesozoic-Cenozoic.

69 APPLICATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE TOMOGRAPHY IN THE PROBING OF GOLD MINE

Electromagnetic well-logging with high frequency is a traditonal probing means. The drilling electromagnetic wave methods have added some new contents with the appearence of geotomography. The application of geotomography technology in the probing of quartz vein gold mine is discussed in this paper.
In the Scanning medium, because of the differences of some electromagnetic parameters (Such as dielectric constant, resistility, absorbing coeficient etc.), the obvious borders are-formed on the image of geotomography. Geotomography theoretically use the different absorbing coeficients of high frequenty electromagnetic waves in different medium, then calcu-late out the distribution of medium absorbing coeficients and Obtained the fine structure of underground medium. On the Computer screen, the image are the two-dimensions images of the electromagnetic wave absorbing coeficents distribution in the medium of observing plain.This test shows that geotomography not only can reflect gold ore veins and their wall rocks, but also even in the same medium of different system,so long as the design is reasonable, the much better effect can be obtained.
In this test, we have obtained some experience of using geotomography in tunnels and also laid a foundation for working in quartz rock veintype of gold mine in the future. New probing technology can reduce the work load of drilling and excavation. Geotomography technology provids us a new way for the probing of gold mine.
