1 DISCOVERY OF THE EARLY JURASSIC VOLCANIC ROCKS IN XINLIN AREA OF NORTHERN DAXINGANLING MOUNTAINS: Geological Implication
LIU Tao, JI Feng, WANG Wen-dong, WANG Jiu-yi, ZHAO Xi-dong
The Early Jurassic acid volcanic rocks are newly discovered in Zhanbeicun Formation of Xinlin area in northern Daxinganling Mountains, from which two samples of zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb ages are determined. The first is sericitized rhyolite, with the testing point deviating to the right side of concordant curve on the concordia diagram-a typical discordant age, yielding the intersecting age with concordant curve of 192.0±1 Ma(MSWD=1.2), which is the cooling crystallization age of rhyolites after extrusion. The second one is weakly silicified rhyolite with a concordant age of 178.0±1 Ma, which is the result of the loss of radioactive trace element Pb, and the rock-forming age should be close to that of the sericitized rhyolite. The volcanic rocks are petrochemically and geochemically characterized by high Ti rhyolite and I-type rhyolite. The Mg# value of the rhyolite(0.43-0.73) and content of hypersthene in CIWP norm minerals (0.25%-0.96%) support that the rhyolite is derived from crystallization-differentiation of basic magma.

13 THE LOWER CRETACEOUS PETRIFIED WOOD IN NORTHERN LIAONING: Paleoclimatic Significance
DING Qiu-hong, LI Xiao-hai, LI Wen-bo, ZHANG Zhi-bin, CHEN Shu-wang, ZHANG Jian, SUN Shou-liang, ZHANG Yu-jin
The wood anatomy and systematics study of petrified woods from the Lower Cretaceous Shahai Formation in northern Liaoning show that the petrified woods are all silicified secondary xylem of conifer gymnosperms, belonging to the taxonomic groups of Protocupressinoxylon, Protopiceoxylon and Xenoxylon respectively. The growth rings of novel materials of the current petrified woods are clear, with the early wood to late wood ratio of 0.84-64, and the annual average sensitivity of 0.23-0.3, indicating that the climate has obvious seasonal variation. The trees have a short late-wood growth time and long early-wood time span, that is, the tracheid division is strong in the growing season, and the suitable time for factors such as moisture, temperature, humidity and light last longer. The uneven width of continuous growth rings and existence of false rings reflect that the climate changed frequently at that time, and the average annual precipitation may have a great difference. It can be inferred from the growth characteristics that the Shahai Formation in northern Liaoning was generally humid during the sedimentary period, but there might be some arid-semiarid climate fluctuations. The special anatomical structures in petrified woods such as false ring, traumatic resin canal, twisted growth ring and insect hole reveal that there may be drought, wind disaster and insect pests in the then eco-environment, which are unfavorable for the growth of trees in a short time.

21 MINERALOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SILICIFIED WOOD IN YANQING DISTRICT OF BEIJING
CHENG Su-zhen
The mineralogical characteristics of silicified wood in Yanqing are analyzed by the test methods of X-ray fluorescence (XRF), infrared spectroscopy (IR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results show that the samples of silicified wood of two different plant species but formed in the same burial site are of similar origin, and their colors are closely related to the types and contents of elements in the silicified wood. The XRD analysis indicates that the main compositions of silicified wood with different colors and plant species are consistent, i.e. SiO2, with small traces of other minerals. The infrared absorption bands of the two silicified wood specimens are basically the same, showing typical quartzite jade infrared absorption spectrum and containing a small amount of adsorbed water. The main mineral composition of the two specimens are cryptocrystalline quartz under the polarized microscope. The sedimentary environment of silicified wood in Tuchengzi Formation of Yanqing was shallow lacustrine deposit in semiarid-semihumid climate, accompanied by volcanic activity.

28 GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND METALLOGENIC PREDICTION OF BEIERSHIJIAZI COPPER-GOLD DEPOSIT IN LIAONING PROVINCE
GUO Xiao-dan, PENG Hu, WANG Lin-shi, GUO Ya-bo, ZHANG Song, LI Wei-ya
The Beiershijiazi Cu-Au deposit in Liaoning Province is located in Chaoyang-Chifeng gold metallogenic belt on the northern margin of North China Platform, where quite a few Cu-Au ore/mineralized occurrences of altered rock type are controlled by NW- and NE-trending faults. Three types of soil geochemical anomalies were delineated by soil geochemical survey, including 4 of I-type, 8 of II-type and 16 of III-type. Geophysical exploration is carried out in the areas with well geochemical anomalies, among which the high resistivity area of geophysical exploration coincides with the I-type anomaly area of geochemical exploration, and 3 anomaly areas and 4 deep targets are delineated by IP intermediate gradient and IP sounding. Based on the geological, geophysical and geochemical characteristics of the area, it is considered that the development of hydrothermal alteration mineral assemblages such as silicification, pyritization and chalcopyritization are key prospecting indicators of petromineralogy. The contact zone of Paleoproterozoic Baoyintu Group strata and granitic gneiss, NW- and NE-trending tectono-altered fracture zones, and high-sulfide areas are important prospecting targets.

47 SEDIMENTARY CHARACTERISTICS AND METALLOGENIC REGULARITY OF PHOSPHORIC ROCK SERIES AT THE BOTTOM OF CAMBRIAN STRATA IN YANGTZE REGION
CAO Jin-xin, CHEN Ji-yan, WANG Long-bo
The phosphoric rock series at the bottom of Cambrian in Yangtze region are mainly contained in the strata of Meishucunian Age. It is worth studying for the various sedimentary facies, complex phosphoric rock series, great variation of sedimentary thickness and large amount of phosphate resources. Through field survey and comparison study of 13 phosphoric rock series profiles in the area, the sedimentary sequence show that, from bottom to top, the grains change from coarse to fine, from cross bedding, wave bedding and graded bedding to parallel bedding, and the bioclasts decrease to disappear; From west to east, the sedimentary microfacies generally change from shallow gentle slope and deepwater gentle slope to continental slope and deep sea, which control the formation of phosphorites to a certain extent. The carbonate rocks, siliceous rock, phosphorites and some silty clay rock transform into siliceous rocks, carbonaceous shale and nodular phosphorites. The phosphoric rock series in the lower section of Zhongyicun Member of Meishucun Formation in Yunnan, the lower member of Gezhongwu Formation in Zhijin and lower member of Taozichong Formation in Qingzhen of Guizhou are the lower ore beds; while the phosphoric rock series in the upper section of Zhongyicun Member of Meishucun Formation, the upper member of Gezhongwu Formation and upper member of Taozichong Formation are the upper ore beds. The phosphoric rock series in the Niutitang Formation in Jinsha, Xishui, Zunyi, Kaiyang and Zhenyuan of Guizhou, the Liuchapo Formation in Tianzhu and Tongren of Guizhou, the Hetang Formation in Shangrao of Jiangxi and Jiangshan of Zhejiang, and the Mufushan Formation in Nanjing of Jiangsu are the top ore beds.

BAO Shan-dong, ZENG Biao, BAI Zong-hai, HUANG Qing-hua, YUAN Yong-tao, QI Wen, XIONG Shou-jia
The correlation between content assemblage of radionuclides in ores and ore content of rock is analyzed to guide the exploration of lithium-beryllium rare earth ore resources. The granite pegmatite dikes in Chakabeishan area are measured for magnetic and radioactive characteristics by using ENVI Pro proton magnetometer and ARD multichannel gamma-ray spectrometer, to determine the content distribution rule and anomaly location of 238U, 232Th and 40K, delineate ore-bearing rock bodies, extract information and analyze the correlation between magnetic anomaly and radioactive element content. The results show that the background field with high U, Th and K in the north anomaly area is mainly controlled by epimetamorphic rocks originated from sedimentary rocks. In the middle and southern anomaly areas, the area near the joint of two veins and contact zone where the magnetic anomalies overlap U-Th mixed anomalies have the greatest potential for rare metal and rare earth ores exploration, reflecting that the correlation analysis of magnetic survey and energy spectrum measurement can provide a good geophysical basis for future prospecting.

NIU Cong-cong, ZHANG Xue-liang, ZHAO Jun-hong, NING Geng-chen, ZHANG Zhi-qing
The Rovieng Cheung dome structure is located in the Siem Reap-Stung Treng metallogenic belt with the main mineral of iron in northern Cambodia. The discovered iron deposits, including Gygoye iron deposit, Rock Mountain iron deposit and Nuodongan iron deposit, mainly consist of supergene residual deluvial ores and primary ores, with orebodies occurred in layered, stratoid, cystic and lenticular forms, and mineral assemblages of hematite-magnetite-limonite. The deposits in large unproven areas within the dome share similar metallogenic geological setting with the known deposits. To rapidly evaluate the iron metallogenic background in the unproven areas, the low-altitude high-precision magnetic survey by trike is conducted on the basis of geological and remote sensing information, combined with the ground magnetic survey for verification. A total of 12 prediction areas are delineated, among which 4 are first-level prospecting targets as the main direction of next step.

88 CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICABILITY OF GROUNDWATER QUALITY IN OROQEN QI, INNER MONGOLIA
SUN Qi-fa, JIA Li-guo, SUN Zhuo-an, XING Wei-guo, HAO Guo-jie, TIAN Hui, LI Xu-guang
Based on the investigation, sampling and drilling, combined with previous data, the SPSS and groundwater pollution analysis softwares are used to analyze the regional geological conditions, groundwater quality, drinking water quality and farmland irrigation water quality characteristics in Oroqen Qi. It is considered that the groundwater iron and manganese contents in Oroqen Qi is controlled by the high background values of soil iron and manganese in Northeast China, and the generally high contents result in the increase of groundwater chroma and turbidity. Influenced by human activities, the mass concentrations of As, SO42-,NH4+ and NO2- in groundwater of different areas vary greatly. According to the agricultural and industrial water quality requirements and certain level of human health risk, high iron, manganese, chroma, turbidity, pH value, sulfate radical and fluoride ion content result in the groundwater in part of well locations reaching the Class Ⅳ water standard, basically suitable for agriculture and some industrial water, and used for drinking water after proper treatment. By fully understanding the variation rule of groundwater quality in the region, it is suggested that the pollution of groundwater caused by human factors be reduced as far as possible.

115 IDENTIFICATION OF GAS-WATER ZONES IN VOLCANIC RESERVOIRS IN SICHUAN BASIN BASED ON PROBABILITY DISTRIBUTION OF LOGGING CURVES
ZHANG Li-hua, PAN Bao-zhi, SHAN Gang-yi
The mineral compositions of volcanic rocks are complex, including mainly quartz, orthoclase, plagioclase, mica, hornblende, pyroxene and olivine. Due to various reservoir properties and pore structure types of different lithology, it is difficult to identify gas-water zones in volcanic rocks. Based on the logging data, first, the method of neutron-density crossplot is used to calculate porosity, and then the P1/2 probability distribution curve is constructed combined with the laboratory rock electrical parameters and logging resistivity curve to identify volcanic gas-water zone according to the distribution pattern. The method is applied to the volcanic reservoirs in Sichuan Basin to identify the gas-water zones, and the interpreting conclusion is consistent with the gas testing results, indicating that the method is feasible and effective, and can guide the identification of gas-water zones in other lithology reservoirs.
